“Is not the job, but the surroundings that make women leave”

“Experiences across European offices (Netherlands, UK, France, Germany, Belgium, Sweden and Turkey) showed that women that left the company often did not leave their field of expertise (such as accounting, tax, consulting, risk management) but were simply employed by other companies. These women left because of the surroundings, meaning that they did not feel comfortable in the culture of their workplace”.
